TAIRI GRACE

Licensed Clinic Social Worker
Aurora University, Master's Degree 2006

Tairi Grace is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in treatment services to children, adolescents, and loved ones who have experienced trauma and/or challenges. With more than 20 years experience as a clinical juvenile probation officer, foster care specialist, and private practice clinician, she is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are child and adolescent sexual abuse/trauma. 


Her therapeutic approach is based on ego pychology, intrapersonal neuroscience, and theory based on the client’s individual situation. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the healing and the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.

BRITTANY HETZEL

Licensed Social Worker

Brittany Hetzel is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and a 200-HR certified yoga instructor. She has worked at Grace Holistic Center for Education since 2016, with her most current role as the Director of the Mindfulness Program. Brittany also works at World Relief Chicagoland as the Aurora After-School Club Program Coordinator, in which she works cross-culturally with refugee and immigrant clients. 


At both of these non-profits, she utilizes her mental health training by offering therapeutic groups and counseling using mindfulness techniques, yoga, DBT, CBT, and trauma-informed practice.

ALISSA GAWNE

Licensed Social Worker

Alissa Gawne is an LSW, a certified yoga instructor, and a Social Work graduate of Aurora University. She also is looking to further her education within a doctoral program at Aurora University after sitting for her LCSW and CADC exams this fall.  


She has worked at Grace Holistic Center for Education since 2016 as a Social Work intern, Gym Teacher, Teacher Aide, and now currently holds a role as an Academic Advisor as well as one of the Mindfulness Program Coordinators. 


Alissa utilizes her mental health and chemical 

dependency training by offering individual 

counseling or therapeutic groups to 

children, adolescents, young adults that 

incorporate mindfulness techniques, yoga, 

ACT, CBT, and DBT.
